At the time it was described as the longest diorama in the world. The 306-foot-long diorama opened in 1958 and was painted by noted scenic artist Delmer Yoakum. A mountain lion stands on a rock outcropping as seen by passengers aboard the Disneyland Railroad as they pass through the Grand Canyon Diorama. Trades within companies are the easiest to pull off in my fictional ride-swapping universe, so we’ll start with those. So Disneyland can’t trade its Main Street Vehicles to Walt Disney World for its new Avatar land. Until someone comes up with actual fantasy theme park league, we’ll have to make due with a few trades I’ll propose here: The rules are that these have to be deals that both parks – and their fans – would agree to. Who gives up what to get a great ride or show from another park? But as with any fantasy team, the best part would be the trades. Let’s draft attractions and find some way to figure out which of our made-up parks would draw the most fans and make the most money. I want to run my own fantasy theme park league.
